I got a chuc...Yep, now you have me craving a bagel. I got a chuckle out of your comment spending 4 hours kneading, boiling and baking to have bagels just in time for dinner! It's true that these babies are time-consuming. I made them once, but that was all I needed to realize it is much easier to go to the local bagel shop and buy one (or a dozen). <br /><br />I've been freezing bagels for a long time. I'll buy a dozen, eat one in the car on the way home, eat one while I bag them up, then keep one out for a snack later that day. Gee, that leaves 9 left...for about 3 days if I'm lucky.
